Clinic Management Software for Chamber Clinics in Bangladesh
Clinic management software for the clinics Bangladesh knows best: consultants in chambers morning and evening, a busy serial desk, a lab downstairs and a few cabins upstairs. Serials, prescriptions, tests and the cash counter share one Bangla and English dashboard, and every role can be tried in the live demo.

Open the clinic demo, give a serial as the receptionist, call the next patient as the doctor and print a prescription. Logins are one click and the data resets every three hours.
Built around the chamber, the serial desk and the cash counter
Our clinic management software is the clinic edition of Nexteio's finished medical software, made for chamber-based clinics in Bangladesh. Each doctor has a weekly timetable, patients take serials at the desk or online, a TV in the waiting room shows who is being seen, and the prescription goes from the doctor's desk to the counter without a paper slip.
The clinic edition has 19 modules on top of the core of patients, billing, users and settings. A clinic without beds switches off admission, nursing and the operation theatre and keeps a short menu. When cabins are added, they are switched back on.
You can open the live demo before talking to anyone, and log in as the receptionist, the doctor or a patient.
A crowd at the serial desk every evening
Patients queue for a token, phone lines stay busy, and nobody can say how long the wait will be.
Chamber times kept in someone's head
When a consultant takes leave, patients still turn up because their serials were never cancelled.
Advised tests that never get billed
The doctor writes the tests on the prescription, the patient leaves, and the lab never sees the order.
Prescriptions nobody can read
Handwritten medicines cause questions at the pharmacy, and there is no copy when the patient returns.
Follow-up patients who forget to come back
Revisit dates are written on paper, and the clinic has no simple way to remind the patient.

Who the clinic edition fits
Chamber-based clinics
Several consultants sitting in shifts, with a serial desk and a cash counter in front.
Family and mother-and-child clinics
Clinics for general medicine, gynae and child care with regular follow-up visits.
Clinics with a few cabins
Clinics that admit patients for deliveries and minor surgery and need simple bed charges.
Doctors running their own chamber
A doctor who wants serials, prescriptions and fees in one place instead of a register.
Clinics with a lab and pharmacy
Clinics where tests and medicines bring in as much as consultation fees.
What gets better in a clinic
The serial, the prescription, the test bill and the report all hang on one patient ID, so the desk never has to search through paper.
Book a free call-
A calmer waiting room
Patients arrive near their expected time and watch the queue screen instead of asking the desk.
-
No serials on leave days
Leave blocks new bookings, and staff see how many patients already hold serials for that day.
-
Tests that reach the lab and the bill
Advised tests turn into a bill at the counter, so the order is never lost between the chamber and the lab.
-
Prescriptions patients can read
Typed, printed prescriptions in Bangla or English, with a copy the doctor sees on the next visit.
-
More patients return on time
The follow-up SMS goes out the day before, and the follow-up fee is applied automatically.
-
A clear daily cash position
The cash book and daily collection report show what each counter took and by which method.
What clinic management software has to do in a chamber clinic
A clinic in Bangladesh is mostly a set of doctors' chambers. Consultants sit at fixed times, often in the evening after hospital duty, and the serial desk decides how smooth the evening goes. Clinic management software is useful only if it starts there: who sits when, how many patients each doctor can see, and what happens when a doctor is on leave.
In our clinic edition every doctor has a weekly timetable with one or more sittings, a slot length and an optional patient cap. The system works out how many serials each sitting can take and gives each serial an expected time. Leave days block new bookings and warn the desk how many patients already hold a serial, so they can be called. A doctor can log in and see the next two weeks of sittings, booked serials and free places.
The clinic software case study shows the full system with sample doctors and patients.
From serial to prescription to test bill
Here is an ordinary evening in a clinic that uses the system.
- Booking. A patient books on the website in the afternoon, choosing a department, a doctor and a date with free serials, and gets an SMS with the serial number and time. Another patient phones and the desk books the serial; a third walks in.
- Check-in. When the patient arrives, the desk checks them in. The consultation bill is made at once, with the follow-up fee if the patient saw the same doctor within the follow-up window.
- Waiting room. The TV shows the serial now being seen and the next five, with first names only.
- Consultation. The doctor presses Call next and the prescription form opens. Medicine names fill in as the doctor types, templates fill common cases, and the last eight prescriptions of the patient are on the side.
- After the visit. The prescription prints on A4 or A5 in Bangla or English. Advised tests become an unpaid bill at the counter, the lab prints barcode labels, and the patient gets an SMS when the verified report is ready. The day before the follow-up date, another SMS reminds them to come back.
Choosing clinic management software: questions to ask
Many owners compare a full clinic management system with simple doctor chamber software that only keeps serials. Ask the same questions either way:
- Can it handle evening chambers and leave? Ask to see a doctor on leave and what happens to existing serials.
- Is the prescription quick enough for a busy doctor? A doctor who sees forty patients an evening needs templates and type-ahead, not long forms.
- Do advised tests reach the counter? If the lab never sees the order, the clinic loses money every day.
- Can you switch off what you do not use? A chamber-only clinic should not see ward and theatre menus.
- Is the data yours? Each clinic runs its own copy on its own domain and hosting.
If your main need is booking across many locations or services rather than running a clinic, our page on appointment scheduling software covers that. If your clinic has an emergency unit, a blood bank or ambulances, the hospital management system edition includes them.
Clinic management software with beds, or without
Many clinics keep a few cabins for deliveries and minor surgery. The clinic edition includes a colour bed board, admission with an advance, bed transfers, nursing charts, an OT booking board with a pre-op checklist and a discharge summary with the final bill. A clinic that only runs chambers switches those modules off, and the dashboard stays short. Emergency, the blood bank and ambulance are not part of the clinic edition; a clinic that grows into a hospital buys the hospital license and keeps its data.
The clinic website and patient portal
The clinic website is built around chambers. The home page shows the doctors in chamber today, a weekly timetable, family services, a quick serial form, the price list and health packages, and on phones the middle button of the bottom bar is Serial. It uses blue and indigo colours that you can change. Patients log in to the portal to book serials, read prescriptions, open reports and pay bills through the bKash payment gateway, SSLCommerz or a send-money TrxID your staff approve. To be found when people search for a doctor nearby, see our guide to creating a Google Business Profile, and for single-specialty clinics our notes on dental website design apply as well.
What affects the cost
We do not show a price on this page. The cost depends on whether we install it for you, how many doctors, tests and medicines need setting up, the SMS company and gateway you connect, and white-label needs. Hosting, SMS credit and gateway fees go to those providers. We send a written quote after a call.
Mistakes clinics make when they switch
- Leaving timetables half done. Online serials depend on correct sittings and leave days. Enter them carefully before the website goes live.
- Skipping the price list. Consultation fees, follow-up fees and test prices must be right on day one.
- Not testing the SMS text. Patients read every message. Check the Bangla templates and send a test SMS first.
- Expecting extras that are not built. The current version has no mobile app, no video consultation and no built-in drug database; the clinic adds its own medicine list.
How setup works
Try the demo, then talk to us about your doctors and fees. The software runs on normal cPanel hosting with PHP 8.2 or newer, MySQL and one cron job, and the web installer opens with Clinic already selected. We set it up on your domain with your name and logo, connect your SMS company and payment gateway, and check the serial, prescription and billing flow with your desk staff. After handover we support it under a maintenance agreement, which needs server access and a signed contract. It is built on Laravel, like the rest of our Laravel web applications.
