What the Work Includes
Crawl & Index Clean-up
We crawl the store and compare it with what Google has indexed in Search Console. Filter, sort and duplicate pages are controlled with canonical tags, noindex rules or robots.txt, broken links are fixed, and the XML sitemap is trimmed to pages that should rank.
Category Page Optimisation
Category pages usually match how people search, for example "men's panjabi" or "baby diaper price in bd". We fix the category tree, write short useful text for each category, improve titles and headings, and link related categories together.
Product Page Improvements
Unique descriptions for your best sellers, clear specifications, size guides, useful image names and alt text, and short answers to common buyer questions. We start with the products that bring the most profit, not the whole catalogue at once.
Product Structured Data
We add or fix Product schema so Google can read price, currency, stock status and real reviews. Where it fits, we connect the store to Google Merchant Center so products can appear in free shopping listings.
Mobile Speed & Usability
Most shoppers in Bangladesh browse on phones. We compress images, remove heavy scripts and apps you no longer use, and check that buttons, prices and delivery details are easy to read on a small screen.

Platform Notes: WooCommerce, Shopify and Custom Stores
WooCommerce Stores
WooCommerce gives full control but often slows down under heavy themes, page builders and too many plugins. We also check tag and attribute archives that get indexed by mistake, SEO plugin settings, image sizes and caching.
Shopify Stores
Shopify can show the same product under several collection URLs. The canonical tag points to the main product URL, but theme links often use the longer path. We adjust theme links, review app scripts that slow pages down, and edit robots and sitemap settings where Shopify allows.
Custom and Laravel Stores
A custom store gives the most freedom, but basics are often missing: editable meta titles per product, canonical tags, a proper sitemap, correct 404 and 301 handling, and clean pagination. We add what is missing and fix what is broken.
Planning a new store or moving to a different platform? URL structure, category depth and the way filters work are much cheaper to get right before launch. Our e-commerce website development team builds these in from the start, and our article on WordPress vs custom website compares the main options.
Is Your Store Ready for SEO? A Quick Self-Check
-
Each category has its own text
A few short paragraphs about the range, sizes, materials or brands, not only a grid of products.
-
Product descriptions are your own
Not copied from the supplier or from other shops selling the same item.
-
Filter pages are not in Google
Search site:yourdomain.com on Google. If you see many URLs with ?color= or ?sort=, filters are leaking into the index.
-
Product pages load fast on mobile data
Test a product page in PageSpeed Insights on mobile. Large photos are the most common cause of slow pages we see.
-
Delivery and payment details are visible
Delivery charge and time for each area, cash on delivery, bKash or Nagad, and the exchange policy shown near the order button.
-
Search Console is connected
Without it you cannot see which pages Google has indexed or which searches show your products.
SEO and ads do different jobs. Ads bring orders this week and stop when the budget stops. SEO takes months to build, but a category page that ranks keeps bringing visitors without paying for each click. Most shops do best running both and slowly shifting budget as organic sales grow. Our comparison of SEO vs Google Ads explains when each one makes sense.
Turning Visits into Orders
Short Checkout
Ask only for what you need to deliver: name, phone number, address and district. Forcing people to create an account before ordering loses buyers.
Order Confirmation
A quick SMS or phone confirmation before dispatch helps filter out fake and impulse orders, which cuts courier return costs.
Clear Delivery and Exchange Rules
Show delivery time and charge for your own city and for the rest of the country, plus the exchange policy, right below the order button.
Simple Mobile Pages
Readable prices, photos that load quickly and buttons large enough to tap with a thumb. Small problems here cost more orders than most owners expect.
If your store gets visitors but very few orders, our article on website traffic with no customers walks through the usual causes.

01 How E-commerce SEO Differs from SEO for a Normal Website
A company website might have 20 to 50 pages. An online shop with 300 products can create thousands of URLs once you count sizes, colours, sort orders, filters and page numbers. Google has to decide which of those pages matter, and it often picks the wrong ones.
That is why an ecommerce SEO service in Bangladesh has to start with the structure of the store, not with blog posts. The common problems we find are:
- Filter and sort pages in Google: URLs such as ?color=red&sort=price get indexed and compete with the real category page.
- Copied product descriptions: the same supplier text appears on dozens of other Bangladeshi shops, so Google has no reason to choose yours.
- Empty category pages: a grid of products with no text, so Google cannot tell what the page is about.
- Dead product pages: sold-out or removed items left as errors or blank pages instead of being handled properly.
- Slow mobile pages: large, uncompressed product photos that take too long to load on mobile data.
Fixing these turns a messy collection of URLs into a store Google can understand, crawl and rank.
02 Who This Service Is For
E-commerce SEO makes sense when you have enough products and enough patience. It suits:
- Facebook-first shops moving to a website that want to reduce how much every order depends on ad spend.
- WooCommerce, Shopify or custom stores that get some traffic but very few orders from Google.
- Stores with large catalogues, such as clothing, cosmetics, electronics or home goods, where duplicate pages and thin content have built up over time.
- Brands launching a new store that want the URL structure and categories planned correctly before launch.
If you sell only five to ten products and need sales this month, paid ads will usually help faster. SEO is a better fit once you can wait 4 to 8 months for results to build.
03 Filters, Variants and Out-of-Stock Products
Filters help shoppers but cause trouble for SEO when every combination becomes its own page. We usually keep a small number of useful filter pages that match real searches, such as a brand inside a category, and keep the rest out of Google. Google explains the options in its guide to consolidating duplicate URLs.
For variants, one product page with size and colour choices is usually better than a separate page for each option. Separate pages only make sense when people search for a specific variant by name.
For stock problems we follow simple rules:
- Temporarily out of stock: keep the page live, mark it as out of stock and offer a way to be notified or a similar product.
- Permanently removed: redirect with a 301 to the closest product or category.
- Seasonal collections: for Eid, Pohela Boishakh or winter ranges, keep the same URL every year and update the products, so the page keeps its history.
04 Working Alongside Your Ads, Videos and Website
SEO works better when it is planned with the rest of your marketing. While category pages build up in search, Google Ads can cover high-intent searches straight away, and the search terms that convert in ads tell us which pages to improve first.
Facebook and TikTok ads often create the first contact, and many of those people later search for your shop name on Google. Your brand search results, Google Business Profile and product pages should all be ready for that moment.
Short product videos also help. A clear video on a product page answers questions that photos cannot, such as fabric thickness or real size. We can coordinate this work with our ads and video teams so the message stays the same everywhere.
05 What We Need from You to Start
- Access: admin access to the store, plus Google Search Console and Google Analytics, or permission to set them up.
- Your priorities: your main categories and the products with the best profit margin, so we work on what matters first.
- Product knowledge: supplier details, materials, sizes and the questions customers ask most on Messenger or by phone.
- Policies: your delivery areas, charges, payment methods and exchange rules.
- A contact person: someone who can approve changes and answer product questions within a day or two.
With this in place, the audit usually takes one to two weeks and fixes start straight after.
