Taranga

The brief

Taranga is a home electronics store in Bangladesh for ACs, TVs, fridges, fans, washers and small kitchen appliances. These are big purchases, so buyers compare a lot and want to know about EMI, installation and warranty before they call. The site had to answer those questions up front and feel calm rather than loud.

What we built

• Hero stories: quiet inverter ACs and BLDC fans, slim 4K TVs, and kitchen helpers like rice cookers and blenders.
• Why Taranga block: free AC and TV installation in the service area, 0% EMI up to 12 months, official warranty and 7-day replacement if faulty on arrival.
• Smart picks for small rooms, family fridges, cinema at home, a first kitchen and energy savers.
• Shop by room and budget: bedroom, kitchen, living room and laundry, plus four budget bands up to ৳79,999.
• Buying advice: shoppers share their room and budget and the team suggests the right model.
• Checkout with cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and cards, plus sign-in by SMS code.

How it was built

Taranga runs on WordPress with a custom theme and a light store plugin instead of WooCommerce. The look is warm and homely: coral buttons, slate text and soft sand backgrounds, with Urbanist headings and Inter body text. Pages are kept light so they open fast on mobile data.

The result

An appliance store that answers the big questions before the phone rings and makes large orders feel safe. Want an electronics store like this? See our e-commerce website service or start a project.
