The brief
A private hospital in Bangladesh charges the same patient at many desks: reception, the doctor's chamber, the lab, the ward, the theatre and the pharmacy. When each desk keeps its own book, charges are missed and families wait at discharge. Hospitals needed one system in Bangla and English, on their own domain, where every desk adds to the same patient record and the same bill.
What we built
- Front desk and billing: patient cards with QR codes, bills from the price list with discounts, part payments, dues, refunds and money receipts.
- Doctor serials and prescriptions: weekly chamber schedules, online serials, a waiting-room TV queue screen and printed prescriptions with a QR check.
- Lab and imaging: barcode tube labels, pathologist verification, A4 reports with QR that patients can open online.
- Wards and theatre: a colour bed board, admission with advance, nursing charts, OT booking with a pre-op checklist and a discharge summary.
- Emergency, blood bank and ambulance linked to the admission bill.
- Pharmacy, accounts and payroll: barcode POS with expiry-first stock, cash book, nine reports and payslips.
How it was built
The software runs on Laravel 12 with Bootstrap 5 and installs from a web installer on normal cPanel hosting. The hospital edition uses a calm teal design. A patient website and portal take online serials and payments through bKash, SSLCommerz or send money, and SMS goes out through local SMS companies.
The result
