The brief
Retro style has a loyal following in Bangladesh: tea dresses, flares, corduroy and mom jeans. A vintage clothing store needs a strong mood so it feels different from an everyday fashion shop, while sizes, prices and payment stay just as clear. Buyers also want to look the piece over before paying.
What we built
- Shop by decade: the '50s, '60s, '70s and '90s, shown as record-style tiles with piece counts.
- Era stamp on every card and product page, so each piece shows the decade it comes from.
- Dated hero looks, such as a 1956 Sunday tea dress or 1973 flares, each with a starting price.
- Six categories, from dresses and blouses to menswear and bags and shades.
- New finds every Tuesday, plus a clearance rail with a timer for last pieces.
- Notes from the archive, a blog on the tea dress, wearing flares and caring for suede.
How it was built
Smriti uses its own WordPress theme with our light store plugin, so it stays fast on mobile data. The size chart warns that vintage shapes sit close at the waist and says which size to take. The look is warm and nostalgic: Bodoni Moda headings, Libre Franklin text, a parchment background, a brick red accent and a letter-style note above the footer.
