School Management Software

The brief

Many schools in Bangladesh still run admission, fees, attendance and results on paper and spreadsheets. They needed one system that the office, teachers and families could all use, in Bangla and English, from a phone or a desktop. Each school also wanted its own copy on its own domain, with its own name, logo and colors.

What we built

• School website with notices, news, events, gallery, teachers, institution info, prospectus download and emergency numbers.
• Online admission: parents apply with photos and papers, track the status, and the office turns an approved form into a student record.
• Attendance with SMS: guardians of absent students get a text the same day.
• Fees and online payment: monthly bills, printed receipts, due reminders by SMS, and payment through bKash, SSLCommerz or send money.
• Exams and results: mark entry, GPA on the Bangladesh grading scale, merit position, mark sheets and result search on the website.
• ID cards and certificates with QR codes that anyone can scan to check they are real.
• Class routine and payroll: teacher clash checks, salary sheets and pay slips.
• Six role-based logins: super admin, head teacher, teacher, accountant, guardian and student each see only their own part.

How it was built

The software runs on Laravel 12 with a Bootstrap 5 front end and the Hind Siliguri font for clear Bangla text. The design uses deep navy with a gold accent. Pages are light and responsive, so they load fast on mobile data. A nightly backup goes to the school's own Google Drive.
