Fabrics in the guide
The brief
Orna is built for a three-piece boutique in Bangladesh. Many women buy salwar kameez fabric unstitched and then look for a tailor, while others want a set that is ready to wear. The store had to serve both, show the fabric clearly and make the stitching price and ready date plain before payment.
What we built
- Stitch it for me: pick a fabric set, then keep it unstitched or choose basic or designer stitching, and see the total and the ready time.
- Six categories: unstitched 3 pc, ready to wear, party wear, kurtis, dupattas and tailoring.
- Fabric guide for lawn, cotton, georgette, khaddar and chiffon, with season, weight and sheerness.
- Color swatches and size picks on product cards, with sale prices and ratings.
- Style notes such as how to take measurements at home and five ways to drape a dupatta.
How it was built
Orna runs on WordPress with its own theme and our own store plugin, not WooCommerce, so it stays quick on mobile data. The palette is deep teal with coral and mustard accents on white and soft cream, with Yeseva One headings and Poppins text. After an order, the shop calls the buyer to take measurements. Payment is cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad or card.
