The brief
Families in Bangladesh buy rice, dal, oil and fresh vegetables every week, and many now order from a phone. A grocery site has to be fast, show fair prices up front, and make a full monthly bazar quick to order, not item by item for half an hour.
What we built
- Ready bazar lists: one tap adds a monthly bazar for four, a Ramadan list or a bachelor pack, and every item can be edited before checkout.
- Eleven aisles from rice and flour, dal, oil and spices to vegetables, fruits, eggs and dairy, household items and combo packs.
- Today's price drop, most bought this week and just arrived rows.
- Shop by need and by budget, plus bulk family packs like 5 kg rice and 5 litre oil.
- Kitchen tips blog on storing rice and dal and picking fresh vegetables.
How it was built
Mudi runs on WordPress with its own theme and a light store plugin instead of WooCommerce, so the long product lists stay quick on mobile data. The design is white with a fresh green accent and a rounded Bangla-friendly headline font. The top bar lists delivery time, the free delivery amount and payment options.
The result
A grocery store where a full bazar takes a few taps, paid by cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad or card. Planning a grocery shop? See our e-commerce website service or start your project.
