The brief
Moyra is made for a traditional mishti shop in Bangladesh that makes chhana sweets, laddu, barfi, jilapi and winter pitha every morning. Orders peak at Eid, Pohela Boishakh, weddings and puja, when families buy in bulk. The site had to feel warm and local and take both small and big orders.
What we built
- Six sweet counters: rosogolla and chhana, laddu and barfi, jilapi and fried, pitha, payesh and halwa, and gift boxes.
- Sweets for every celebration: Eid, Pohela Boishakh, biye and gaye holud, and puja.
- Today's price board with prices per 500 g.
- Weight choice of 500 g or 1 kg, with Bangla and English names on every sweet.
- Winter pitha season with bhapa and puli pitha, patali gur and payesh.
- Weddings and events block with a quote button, plus an FAQ on freshness and shelf life.
How it was built
Moyra runs on WordPress with its own theme and WooCommerce, with cash on delivery at checkout. The design uses deep rose and dark maroon on white and warm cream, with Rozha One headings, Kalam handwritten accents, Poppins text and Hind Siliguri for Bangla. Pages stay light so the menu of sweets opens fast on mobile data.
The result
A mishti shop online that keeps the feel of the counter and is ready for the festival rush. Selling sweets or food online? See our e-commerce website service or start a project.
