The brief
Honey buyers in Bangladesh are wary of fake and mixed products. A honey shop has to show where each jar comes from, how it is handled and what to do if it sets in winter. The store also had to sell a small healthy pantry range and take orders by phone for buyers who prefer to call.
What we built
- Top bar for phone and WhatsApp orders and a 10 percent first order code.
- Category menu with item counts for honey, nuts and dates, seeds and grains, oils and tea.
- Hero slides for raw honey, comb honey and nuts and dates, each with an order button.
- Why our honey is different block and a short brand story about buying straight from beekeepers.
- Product pages with the source story, a usage tip, a short FAQ and Buy Now next to Add to Cart.
How it was built
Mouchak runs on WordPress with WooCommerce and our own Mouchak theme. The colours are a deep honey brown on white and cream, with Playfair Display headings for a natural, crafted feel. Products load in batches with a Load more button, which keeps the home page fast on mobile data. Payment notes list cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad, Rocket and cards.
The result
