Mohona

The brief

Women in Bangladesh who wear XL and above often find one or two large sizes on a rack, or a bigger copy of a small pattern. A plus size store has to show the full size range up front, help with fit before the order, and make exchanges simple, so buyers feel safe ordering online.

What we built

• Full range everywhere: XL to 6XL on every style, at the same price in every size.
• Size finder: enter bust, waist and hip in inches and get one size that fits all three.
• Shop by cut: wrap, A-line, empire, shift, maxi and co-ord.
• Model wears label on each card, so buyers know the size in the photo.
• Seven categories, from dresses and denim to sarees and kurtis, plus a party edit and a timed buy-two offer.
• Product pages with a size chart that includes UK sizes and fit notes on stretch panels.

How it was built

Mohona is built on WordPress with its own theme and our light store plugin, so it stays quick on mobile data. Sign in works by password or a one-time code. The design is warm and confident: Playfair Display headings, Mulish text, a warm off-white background and a deep plum accent. Visitors can switch between English and Bangla.

The result
