The brief
Before Eid and the wedding season, families in Bangladesh shop for the whole house at once. They want outfits that match, in the right sizes, delivered on time. A festive wear site has to make matching easy, show the order deadline clearly and handle a rush of phone orders.
What we built
- Festival countdown on the home page with days left to Eid and the last date to order in time.
- Match the family: one color, such as plum or saffron, across panjabi, three-piece, party frocks and boys panjabi.
- Family sets of four outfits sold together, next to single pieces for women, men, girls and boys.
- Dressed for occasion blocks, festive offers, shop by price and jewelry and clutch accessories.
- Festive notes blog with an Eid shopping calendar and care tips, plus delivery and exchange pages.
How it was built
Mela runs on WordPress with its own theme and a light store plugin rather than WooCommerce, so it stays fast on mobile data during busy weeks. The look is warm: deep plum with gold touches and a classic display serif for headings. A Bangla font is loaded for local text.
The result
