The brief
Expecting mothers in Bangladesh need clothes that fit now and will still fit next month. Many of them order from home, and some from a hospital bed. A maternity store has to explain what to buy at each stage, mark which pieces work for nursing, and keep sizing simple, so the mother just orders her pre-pregnancy size.
What we built
- Shop by trimester: first, second, third and after birth, each with its own count of pieces.
- Hospital bag checklist that remembers the ticks on the phone and links each item to a product.
- Fit tags on cards: stretch fit, bump-to-baby and nursing-friendly.
- Nursing wear and loungewear, from button-front dresses to piped pyjamas and robes.
- Gift sets such as a new mother gift box and a hospital bag bundle, wrapped with a card.
- Delivery to the hospital address, shown in the top bar, plus a guides blog for mothers.
How it was built
Mamota runs on WordPress with its own theme and our light store plugin, so it loads quickly on mobile data. Sign in works with a password or a one-time SMS code. The design is gentle and quiet: a soft green-white background, a sage green accent, Lora serif headings and Nunito Sans text. Visitors can switch between English and Bangla.
The result
