The brief
Wedding shopping in Bangladesh covers a whole week: gaye holud, mehndi, the biye and bou-bhat, and each day has its own colors. Families buy for the bride, the groom and the guests, and costly pieces need a proper fitting. A bridal store has to guide that whole plan and earn trust for large orders.
What we built
- Wedding week planner: pick a day to see its color palette, what the bride and groom wear and the pieces for it.
- Clear wedding categories: bridal lehenga, wedding sarees, sherwani, holud and mehndi, reception, family, little guests and accessories.
- Useful details on cards: blouse and chest sizes, saree length, color choices and made to order notes.
- Fitting and aftercare: free fitting appointments, free alterations within 30 days and exchange within 7 days.
- Wedding journal blog with posts on choosing between Benarasi, Katan and Jamdani.
How it was built
Kone runs on WordPress with its own theme and our own store plugin, not WooCommerce, so the image-heavy pages still load well on mobile data. The design is white with a deep maroon accent and soft gold, and the headings use a classic capital serif that feels like a wedding card. A Bangla font is ready for local text.
