Pack sizes in the rate chart
The brief
Rice and dal sellers in Bangladesh compete on price and honest weight. Families buy every month, while messes, offices and small shops buy by the sack. This site needed to show the per-kg price clearly, reward bigger packs and take bulk orders as easily as small ones.
What we built
- Wholesale rate chart: prices for 1, 5 and 25 packs, with the per-kg price and the saving on each.
- Per-kg price on product cards, so buyers can compare 1 kg and 5 kg packs at a glance.
- Rice menu split into everyday, aromatic, and red and brown rice, each with its varieties.
- Monthly packs and bulk sacks, with a bulk quote request and a proper invoice for 25 kg orders.
- Order by phone button in the header for buyers who prefer to call.
- Kitchen ledger blog on rice types, monthly rice needs and storing dal.
How it was built
Gola runs on WordPress with a custom theme and a custom store plugin. A warm rust accent on white gives it the feel of a grain store. Pages are light for mobile data, the cart is called a bag, and checkout takes cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and cards.
The result
A staples shop that serves both a family's monthly order and a mess's sack order, with prices that are easy to trust. Selling groceries online? See our e-commerce website service or start your project.
