The brief

Jewelry shops in Bangladesh sell high-value pieces, and buyers check the day's gold rate before anything else. This store needed to show rates clearly, explain purity and buyback, and make costly items feel safe to order online, with an easy way to visit the showroom.

What we built

• Today's gold rate in the top bar, plus a full table per vori for 22K, 21K, 18K, traditional gold and silver.
• Detailed categories: necklaces, earrings with jhumka and chandbali, rings, bangles, bridal sets, nose pins, maang tikka, nupur and gold coins.
• Size and color choices, such as chain length and white or yellow gold.
• Trust points: hallmarked purity, insured delivery, lifetime buyback and yearly polishing.
• Book a store visit button right next to the rate table.
• Guides on gold purity, caring for gold at home and choosing a bridal set.

How it was built

Gohona runs on WordPress with a custom theme and a custom store plugin. The design is white with a deep wine accent and gives product photos plenty of room. Pages stay light on mobile data, and checkout takes cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and cards. The owner updates the rates each morning from the dashboard.

The result
