Fosol

The brief

Fosol is built for an organic grocery delivery business in Bangladesh that sells far more than vegetables. Families want to fill the kitchen for the week in one order, see what is in stock and pay the way they like. The store had to carry many aisles without feeling crowded on a small screen.

What we built

• Three-slide hero for organic groceries, seasonal fruit and the weekly bazar, each with a product of the day and its offer price.
• Twelve aisles from Fresh Fruits and Dairy and Eggs to Meat and Seafood, Frozen Foods, Personal Care and Household Essentials.
• Popular products with tabs so a shopper can filter by aisle, with star ratings, stock status and Regular or Family Pack options.
• New Arrivals, Best Sellers and Deals pages linked from the main menu.
• Free delivery bar for orders over 999 taka, shown at the top of every page.
• Kitchen blog with tips such as keeping vegetables fresh for a week, plus shipping and return policy pages.

How it was built

Fosol runs on WordPress and WooCommerce with our own fosol theme. The design uses deep forest green on white with rounded Quicksand headings, so it feels fresh and calm. Checkout takes cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and Rocket, and pages are kept light for phones on mobile data.

The result
