Arot

The brief

Arot Bazar is a wholesale grocery website for a trader in Bangladesh who sells rice, dal, oil, flour and onions by the sack to homes, shops and restaurants. Bulk buyers watch prices every day and want to know how much they save by ordering more. The site had to show rates openly and make big orders simple.

What we built

• Today's Market Rates table with the date, per-kg or per-litre prices and the daily change for rice, dal, oil, sugar, onion and potato.
• Shop by Sack: six staple groups with item counts and a starting price for each.
• Monthly Bazar Packs for bachelors, families and big families, with the full item list, pack price and saving.
• Buy More, Pay Less table that shows the discount and delivery charge at each pack quantity.
• Wholesale account section for shops and restaurants, with credit terms, scheduled delivery and printed invoices, applied for on WhatsApp.
• Quick Price List and pack variants such as Family Pack or Bulk Pack of five.

How it was built

Arot runs on WordPress and WooCommerce with our own arot theme. The look is practical: teal green on white with strong Archivo headings, like a clear price board. Product names show in Bangla and English, and checkout takes cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad and Rocket. Pages load fast on mobile data.

The result

A grocery store that serves both retail and bulk buyers from one site, with fair, visible pricing. Need a wholesale store? See our e-commerce website service or start a project.
